THE ROWING FACILITY IN PALM POINT
THE BOATHOUSE

The Boathouse is nestled within the natural context of Palm Point, Gainesville. The intervention is intended to have a limited impact with the natural environment. The proposed boathouse shelters crew vessels that range from 28ft - 64ft in length. The southern edge features expansive piers to allow crew boats to penetrate the interior of the building so that they can dock and undock boats efficiently. The program also consist of a gym for training, locker facilities, offices and a common lounge area for the crew.
